Charleston, SC - The Wedding!

I couldn't wait to board my 7:20 am flight to Charleston in anticipation of seeing family and friends and enjoying Jake and Gina's Wedding Weekend.  It's finally here.

Temps/climate: ranged from 71 and cloudy with a few sprinkles to 80's and sunny over the weekend.

I checked into beach cottage:  it was only a few miles from where the rehearsal dinner was held.
It was a great fit for us, cozy, and within walking distance to the beach.

Sue and Ted, Sara, Vivian and Grant arrived along with lots of other wedding guests.  We stopped first at Jake and Gina's to say hello and grab a quick snack, and also to check out their new ice cream maker and card(s).  The "Greats" loved the boxes it came in.

Next day we took a walk on the beach and enjoyed hanging out together as a family - something we rarely get to do.

The following day I was able to hang out with a special friend and stop by my favorite shop on King Street downtown Charleston.

Tyler and Gabby got to town and they too were hanging out on King St and surprised me with this shirt.
That night was the rehearsal dinner at the fabulous beach house.

The next day was wedding prep.  We had a wonderful stylist stop by the house to do everyone's hair - really fun.

And then the wedding itself was everything it ought to have been, perfect.

I have wonderful friends and family and am so happy to have spent this time together making one of the most special occasions in my life so much more.
